Frequently Asked Questions

An MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) system works by taking the fresh air from the outside of the house and replacing the old, stale air within the house with the new fresh air. It also has the additional benefit of extracting the warm and humid air from the bathrooms (for example, after a shower), and harvesting the heat from that air and placing it into other rooms , however taking out the unwanted humidity. Therefore, this helps you save some money on heating while also creating a much better atmosphere within the house through the supply of fresh air. Moreover, such systems can be installed in virtually any house, making them perfect for anyone.

This depends on your style. Every type of AC has a similar performance. If, for example, you do not want the unit to be visible, we recommend to choose the concealed option. If you prefer a more stylish option, we recommend the ‘stylish’ wall mounted units, which have a more luxurious appearance. However, if you are on a low budget, we recommend the standard wall mounted units. We install all these types and many more – find out more on our ‘Services’ page!

Depending on the manufacturer and the type of unit, the range is between 16 – 19 degrees Celsius which, for most customers, is cool enough. However, some customers prefer to have a lower temperature for their wine cellar. In that case, we also install wine cellar refrigeration units which can cool down a well insulated compartment to temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.
